I opened it, sighed, a tear ran down my cheek, closed the egg, then opened it again (repeat this step 3 more times)...he then asked me if I would take his hand for a lifetime. Nick took me to the bar I usually hang out in, the Five O Clock Lounge in Lakewood. My friend Michelle works there and they were having their Christmas party. He played a song that we like on the Jukebox and we were slow dancing. When the song ended Michelle turned off the music and he got down on one knee in front of everyone and asked me to marry him. It was perfect!

Tessa Carmelita Valpando, of Cleveland will marry James "Rick" McCauley of Rochester, New York in Cleveland on Saturday, June 27th. Tessa is a gradute of Rochester Institute of Technology and Rick is a recent graduate of Erie Community College. The couple will reside in Rochester.
