Old Stone Church offers you the splendor of Public Square in the grand sanctuary of one of Cleveland’s oldest churches. Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Cleveland, Old Stone Church is close to hotels and restaurants, and is easily accessible from the airports, and both the east and west sides. More than 12,000 couples have made their own history having been married by Old Stone pastors over the years, including celebrities like Bob Feller, Sheila and Gordon MacRae, and Michael Stanley.
The Victorian Romanesque style Sanctuary features a barrel-vaulted ceiling, beautiful stained glass windows—four of which are from the studio of Louis Comfort Tiffany—and a magnificent Holtkamp organ. A bride married at Old Stone stated, “Old Stone not only prepared us for our wedding, they also helped us prepare for our marriage!”

Old Stone Church prepares couples for their wedding ceremony and assists couples in preparing for their marriage. Believing that marriage is an important and sacred institution that is to be supported and enhanced in every way possible, couples who choose to get married at Old Stone Church are required to participate in the Marriage Preparation Seminar and meet at least twice with the minister that will officiate at their ceremony. Led by the pastoral staff, four Marriage Preparation Seminars are held each year in January, March, May and September. The seminars familiarize couples with the guidelines for weddings at Old Stone Church. In addition, opportunities are offered for couples to strengthen their foundation for marriage and enhance relationship skills, through discussion and practice in areas such as communication, family systems, finances, sexuality and spirituality.
Couples planning to be married in other churches or settings are also welcome to attend a marriage preparation seminar, on a space available basis, for a fee.
