Let’s face it, planning a wedding is a big deal. It can easily be a full-time job. One thing you will not have to worry about is photography. I work with you to make sure that the photography part of the day flows as smoothly as possible. It all begins with your engagement session. That is where we get comfortable working together. It’s totally casual, relaxed and fun, in a location that you love. You get a better sense of my shooting style, and I get a good sense of how you interact with the camera and each other. It’s kind of like a dry run for the big day, but with the benefit of beautiful images at the end.

My photography style is a logical balance of “reportage” or “photojournalism,” and creative instruction. During the time that is dedicated for photography, I will coordinate and compose beautiful images with you and your bridal party, similar to our engagement session. But while you’re getting ready, during the ceremony and at the reception, I’m strictly documenting the events. I’m happy to respond to any photographic request by you or others associated with your wedding, but I won’t interfere with the natural course of the day. I’m unobtrusive and discreet.

I also keep your photography schedule organized and accessible. At any time, and from anywhere, you can view your secure photography page that has all the information regarding the who, what, when and where of your photography needs. This allows you to relax about photography and concentrate on the stylist, florist, DJ, caterer, baker…

Much of a photographer’s style comes though in the way they edit. Over the past several years, a number of editing fads have come and gone. I have chosen to maintain a contemporary, yet classic aesthetic to my shooting, editing and album design. I keep it real.
