At Luna Bakery Cafe, we strive to not only create the most amazing cakes, but we guarantee they will taste fantastic.  It is remarkable how many people say they do not eat wedding cake because it is often dry or lacks flavor. All of our ingredients are fresh, all natural and delicious.

Bridget Thibeault, chef/owner, will meet with you personally and help you design the cake of your dreams. For the consultation, it is always a good idea to bring samples of your invitations, fabric swatches and photographs of the dress or any important elements of your wedding day. Fancy or simple, big or small, your cake is a major element of your wedding and the design should be well thought out and executed.

Luna Bakery Cafe may seem new to many people in Cleveland, but it has been a business in the making for ten years. Bridget was raised in Cleveland but moved to Chicago after college. While working at an advertising agency, Bridget went to culinary school as a creative outlet. Little did she know, baking would become her career. Upon finishing school, Bridget moved to New York City to work as a food stylist for major food publications, television shows and advertisements. Her work as a stylist gives her an eye for detail and visual design. Luna Bakery Cafe began as Flour Girl in Manhattan on a freelance basis and Bridget still has clients there today.

Bridget moved back to Chicago, taking a job as culinary director at a culinary consulting firm. This career move was the perfect marriage of marketing and food, but all along Luna Bakery Cafe was building. Cleveland was always on the radar as a place to settle down, and it finally became a reality when Bridget met her husband, Marc, who was living in her hometown.

Today, Bridget is not only chef/owner of Luna Bakery Cafe but continues to freelance as a culinary consultant and food stylist. Her experience gives her an edge over the competition because she is always on top of the current food trends and is continuously sharpening her design skills.
