We are flexible in that we offer everything from full event planning, management and coordination to hourly consultation. If you have the skills to plan an event, we are here to simply assist with your own good event planning knowledge.
Concerned about your food and the environmental impact of your event? Rankin Events knows caterers who source locally and organically and others who help provide an eco-friendly “green” event.
Rest assured, Rankin Events has been LGBT-friendly since the beginning. In fact, if it’s a wedding you are planning, Antonia Rankin, a licensed non-denominational minister will be happy to not only plan it, but she can marry you too!
Ever think of proper event etiquette? You’d be surprised on how many of your guests do. Antonia Rankin, owner of Rankin Events has background training with the Ritz Carlton and prides herself in her attention to detail as well as proper etiquette. So whether you are having your event at the Ritz, or in a barn, there are rules of etiquette that many of your guests will definitely appreciate, which makes you look all the better as host.
Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Referrals for all vendors.
- Visit prospective venues.
- Proofreading and confirming all vendor contracts.
- Search for and reveal any hidden costs.
- Correspond with vendors to confirm dates, times and any special instructions.
- Provide a detailed schedule/timeline for all involved.
- Assistance with seating charts.
- Arrange for all rental items, if needed (delivery, set-up, tear-down and return).
- Work in conjunction with the church/synagogue’s wedding specialists (if applicable).
- Arrange for event transportation.
- Arrange for overnight accommodations for out-of-town guests.
- Provide comprehensive directing of wedding rehearsal if needed.
- Supervision and management day of event.
